Vice
President: Mr. Shi Xiaomin
He was born in Beijing in July 1950 and graduated
from the Economic Department of Beijing University
in 1982. He is a senior economist.
He was a worker and then cadre in the Metal Processing
Factory of Eastern District of Beijing (1968-1978).
From 1978 to1982, he studied in the Economic Department
of Beijing University. He worked in the Theory
Department of Economic Daily (1982-1983), and
served as Deputy Division Chief and Division Chief
of SCRES (1983-1991). Since 1991, he has worked
as Director of Research Department, Executive
Director, Vice Secretary General and Secretary
General of CSER and now he is a Vice President
of CSER.
Main research areas: macro-economic operation
and economic system reform.
He has published dozens of articles in newspapers
and magazines since 1980, most of which are related
to the then reform in the macro-economy. He has
personal experience and understanding of the complication,
tortuousness and law in the historical process
of China’s modernization exploration.
