Honorary President: Mr. An Zhiwen

　　He was born in February 1919 in Zizhou County of Shaanxi Province. In December 1936 he took part in the Chinese revolution and then joined the Communist Party of China.

　　After the liberation, he served as Vice Minister of the State Capital Construction Commission and Vice Minister of the State Planning Commission. He was persecuted during the Cultural Revolution. After 1979 he successively served as First Vice Minister, First Vice Secretary and Secretary of the Party Group and Minister of the Sixth Machinery Industry, Vice Minister and Secretary of Leading Party Group of the State Commission for Restructuring Economic Systems (SCRES). He used to be the member of Financial and Economic Leading Group of the Central Party Committee and member of the Central Advisory Committee of the Communist Party of China. He was president of China Society of Economic Reform for the first, second and third terms.
